Female Connections-the Best Roads to Research Success-This talk recognizes that while there are some challenges to overcome searching one’s female relations they are a potential goldmine. Too often researchers don’t recognize that the neighbor or household member with a different surname is actually a nephew or a cousin related through a female relative. The paternal line is a straight line back but at each earlier generation there are countless relationships to consider. The overwhelming majority of those come through a female connection.

Kevin Cassidy's talks are research- and strategy-centered. He has spoken at events across the United States, Northern Ireland and Ireland. He has history and law degrees and a diploma in family history.
